On February 13, 2024, the sharing of the Saint Basil’s cake among members of the Hellenic Chapter took place at the War Museum in Athens.
The Saint Basil’s cake, like the Galette des Rois in France, is shared at the beginning of each year among family members, friends, or a group of people who share the same inspirations and goals.
A gold or silver coin is placed in the cake, and according to tradition, when the cake is shared, whoever finds this coin in their piece will have good luck all year long…”
