The France ChapterA mission of heritage and commitment
Created in the continuity of the humanist and chivalric values carried by the Order of Saint-Gabriel, the Chapter France embodies one of the historical and strategic foundations of the Order. It brings together knights, ladies and active members working in various fields such as diplomacy, health, the defense of human rights or even social development.
The chapter plays an essential role in coordinating projects on the national territory, while actively contributing to the international actions of the Order.

A man of commitment and conviction, Mr. Duigou embodies the spirit of contemporary chivalric service. Under his leadership, the French Chapter is developing a pragmatic, supportive, and resolutely modern vision of action.
Jean-François Gautier
Seneschal
A man of reflection and coordination, Mr. Gautier guides the development of the French Chapter with rigor and a strong sense of organization. His role as Seneschal helps ensure the proper structuring of actions and the continuity of the Chapter's missions.
Philippe Jacquemet
Bailiff for France
Committed and dynamic, Mr. Jacquemet works to promote the influence of the French Chapter. As Bailiff, he ensures the highlighting of initiatives and the consistency of actions carried out throughout the territory.
Catherine Fandin
Secretary General of the French Chapter
Organized and dedicated, Ms. Fandin ensures the administrative follow-up and coordination of the activities of the French Chapter. Her attention to detail and availability contribute to the smooth running of all missions.
The France Chapter
Our main missions in France
The Chapter France is involved in many concrete initiatives:
- Solidarity and mutual aid actions for the most vulnerable (children in distress)
- Logistical and financial support to recognized local charities
- Organization of charity galas, solidarity dinners and official ceremonies
- Promotion of peace, tolerance and interreligious dialogue
- Support for young people in civic and humanitarian engagement
- Recruitment and training of future members of the Order on French soil
The France Chapter
Legal framework and associative structure
The Chapter is backed by the Association of Hospital Works of Saint-Gabriel – France, non-profit (law 1901), allowing anyone who shares our values to join it.
- Members can participate in events, support causes defended by the Order and engage in grassroots actions.
- Knights and Dames of the Chapter are appointed according to criteria established by the Order, on proposal and after approval of the Lieutenant General.

- Local humanitarian missions in Paris, Lyon and Marseille
- Inter-chapter partnerships to support medical initiatives in francophone Africa
- The preparation of an international charity event in the second semester
