Rooted in the history of the Order of Saint Gabriel through its strong bond with Ivorian land, the Côte d’Ivoire Chapter stands as a pillar of humanitarian and diplomatic action in West Africa. It brings together women and men of influence—from the medical field, business, and diplomacy—united by the desire to serve human dignity and social progress.
The Ivorian Chapter plays a leading role in supporting health infrastructure and education, while also acting as the guardian of chivalric values throughout the country.
Epiphane Zoro
Commander of Côte d’Ivoire
A man of commitment and values, Mr. Epiphane Zoro embodies the spirit of service and fraternity upheld by the Order of Saint Gabriel in Côte d’Ivoire. As Commander, he works for the development of the Chapter, the influence of the Order throughout the country, and the implementation of humanitarian, educational, and cultural projects.
Under his leadership, the Côte d’Ivoire Chapter is building a vision of solidarity-based action, rooted in local realities and open to international cooperation.

Our Main Missions in Côte d’Ivoire
The Côte d’Ivoire Chapter carries out its work around strategic priorities:
- Support for the healthcare system: Logistical and financial assistance to hospitals, notably Saint Joseph Hospital in Yamoussoukro.
- Education and Training: Help with schooling for vulnerable children and support for schools in rural areas.
- Emergency humanitarian aid: Distribution of food kits, medicines, and essential supplies.
- Cultural outreach and peace: Promotion of interfaith dialogue and national harmony through official ceremonies.
- Youth mentorship: Guiding young people toward civic engagement and service-oriented careers.
The Côte d’Ivoire Chapter
Legal Framework and Structure
The Côte d’Ivoire Chapter operates within the local legal framework for associations and acts in accordance with the rules and statutes of the Order of Saint Gabriel.
Members may take part in events, support the causes defended by the Order, and engage in field activities.
The Knights and Ladies of the Chapter are appointed according to the criteria established by the Order, upon nomination and after approval by the competent authorities.
