Decorations (Cross of Merit of the Order of St. Gabriel) were also awarded to some members of the Order.

Personalities who work or have worked in activities related to international development have also been awarded a distinction.

Have thus been received at the rank of Officer

  • His Excellency Gert Antsusem, Ambassador of Estonia to Belgium.
  • Mr François Glorieux, the world-famous conductor.

Mrs Natacha Amal, the famous actress known in particular for her role as Prosecutor Elisabeth Brochene in the TV series "Women of Law", was made a Knight.

The profits from the evening were donated to the association "Le 8ème Jour", whose objective is to offer people with a mild mental handicap, trisomic or other, to live independently in grouped apartments, secured by the presence of able-bodied and supportive people living in the same building, and slightly accompanied by an educational team.
