The charity gala which took place on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Isneauville for the benefit of the association Les Nids, was organized by the members of the Association des OEuvres Hospitalières de Saint Gabriel.
The purpose of the Order of Saint Gabriel is to foster relations between diplomats and members of Civil Society, who contribute through their actions to the development of freedoms, the sharing of knowledge and humanist values.
This exceptional evening for children in danger created enthusiasm and astonishment among the guests. The programme includes a jazzy atmosphere, a refined cocktail reception, a generous raffle... but above all a clever mix of prestige and friendliness. It brought together nearly 500 guests who, through their presence, helped to help children from the Normandy region to find security, affection and the necessary landmarks to build themselves and become autonomous and happy adults.
The works of the Order of St Gabriel also support humanitarian projects, such as the supply of medical equipment to two hospitals in Côte d'Ivoire and a new clinic under construction in Madagascar.
The Order of Saint Gabriel is a secular European order, created at the end of 2010, on the initiative of diplomats accredited in different countries (Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Switzerland...).
In the tradition of the Medieval Orders of Knighthood, the Order of St. Gabriel operates on the general principles of contemporary Orders, whose statutes, exercises and associations are recognised in many European countries.
