On May 25, 2013, an important ceremony was held in Rouen to honour the Knights in the order of Saint-Gabriel.
The Commander of Normandy, HEM Philippe Bihan, Consul of Mauritania and his team showed how much the values of the Order were shared by the personalities from Rouen who joined our Order.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Roland Roux de Chavanes, Grand Master of the Order and led by H.E. Michel Hadjimanolis, Secretary General of the Order, Legate of the Order for Greece.
The members of the Order present were all dressed in their ceremonial uniforms. About ten absent and excused personalities will be honoured in Brussels on 4 November in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Alexander of Belgium.
On that day, 11 knights joined our beautiful Institution in a ceremony of dignity and contemplation. The Order's anthem, the Marengo Consular March, closed the ceremony.
The evening took place in an atmosphere
friendly and fraternal, during which the much awaited speeches of Commander Philippe Bihan, the Grand Master and the Secretary General were delivered during a high quality meal.
